Candy Kittens is today announcing new Candy Kittens LOVES. This latest product joins their hugely popular confectionery line, to celebrate the spectrum of love in today’s society, using bright dopamine inducing colours to inject positivity and happiness into their customers’ lives. Candy Kittens LOVES will launch with a limited edition packaging design, created by modern illustrator Ruby Taylor. Known for her bright and vibrant illustrations, she takes her inspiration from pop culture, everyday life and women’s experiences. She has incorporated this style into her Candy Kittens LOVES limited edition, creating a design that speaks to the Candy Kittens audience.
This new style of product appeals to the latest colour trends within the F&B industry and beyond. Today’s consumer is embracing bold, bright colours, from what they wear to the food they are eating. Gone are the days when strong colours insinuated that a product had been chemically enhanced. Colourful fruit is nature’s confectionery, so a product made with fruit juices like Candy Kittens should reflect this.
Candy Kittens is already the coolest cat in the confectionery industry, and their recent partnership with illustrator of the moment Ruby Taylor further demonstrates this. Her work explores themes of empowerment and self-esteem, two essential learnings for the Candy Kittens audience, and the limited edition packaging design is enabling Candy Kittens to communicate this important message of positivity and self-love to their customers.
Ruby Taylor says, “It was an honour to work with Candy Kittens on their first CK LOVES edition! Using the rainbow as a starting point I wanted to highlight the natural ingredients and give the feeling of the pack bursting with colour and flavour. I’m absolutely thrilled with the design and I hope Candy Kittens customers are too!”
Seen as the millennial’s favourite, thanks to their conscientious and stylish product range, Candy Kittens has always gone against the grain. Purposefully creating a modern confectionery brand for young adults, a smart strategy that has established a cult following among millennials – a demographic with influential purchasing power – helping achieve the brand’s exponential growth since launch in 2012, with sales up 80% YoY.
Co-Founder and MD, Ed Williams says, “We have always believed in bringing love and joy to our customers, and we’ve created a new sweet, bursting with dopamine inducing colours and flavours as well as partnering with the incredibly talented Ruby Taylor. Ruby’s illustrations bring our taste and flavour to life! With CK LOVES we have created a platform to share a little love, positivity and self-belief.”
Like the entire Candy Kittens range, Candy Kittens LOVES is vegan and has been created with no artificial colours or flavours and with fully recyclable packaging. The carbon-neutral brand takes its environmental impact responsibility very seriously, only sourcing honest ingredients and refusing to use palm oil or animal gelatine in any of its products.
Never compromising on flavour, Candy Kittens LOVES does not disappoint on taste, every bite packed with delicious fruity flavour. Ensuring more of that ‘gimme-more’ feeling that customers have grown to know and love!
