New York burger brand Shake Shack is heading to Paddington this winter, with the global restaurant chain preparing to open its 22nd UK location at one of London’s busiest transport hubs.
The new Shake Shack Paddington will be located at 144 Praed Street, London W2 1HU, just outside the main entrance to Paddington Station, giving commuters, travellers and local residents a new spot to grab a quick bite.
With its location directly beside the station, the new Shack is designed to cater to those coming and going through Paddington, as well as Londoners looking for a casual place to stop for lunch, dinner or a quick refuel.
Shake Shack Paddington Is Coming This Winter!
The arrival marks another expansion for Shake Shack in the UK, following the brand’s growing presence across London and beyond.
The Paddington site will bring Shake Shack’s familiar menu of American-inspired favourites to the area, including its much-loved ShackBurger, Crinkle-Cut Fries, Flat-Top Dogs and hand-spun shakes.
The brand is known for its made-to-order burgers using Aberdeen Angus beef, alongside crispy chicken, signature fries, shakes and house-made lemonades.
For travellers catching a train, commuters heading into work or locals exploring the Paddington area, the new restaurant is set to offer a convenient stop without having to venture far from the station.

Richard Franks, Business Director at Shake Shack UK, said the location is a natural fit for the brand.
“We’re absolutely pumped to be opening our 22nd location in the UK at another major transport hub.”

The new restaurant will be positioned just outside the station entrance, creating a street-side destination that can be easily accessed by people travelling through the area.

Shake Shack Paddington Gets a Creative Preview!
Ahead of the opening, Shake Shack has already started building anticipation with new hoarding at the Paddington site.
The artwork has been created by illustrator Soft Shock, giving passers-by an early preview of the brand’s arrival while construction continues ahead of the winter launch.
The colourful installation is set to add a creative touch to the site and offer a glimpse at what commuters and locals can expect when the new Shack opens.
