London’s beloved tapas-style dining destination, the Salt Yard Group, is celebrating its 20th anniversary in style—with a major chef collaboration series set to take over the capital this spring.
Since launching its first Fitzrovia restaurant in 2005 under chef Ben Tish, Salt Yard Group has become synonymous with Spanish and Italian-inspired small plates, blending relaxed dining with elevated culinary craft. Now operating five standout venues across London, the group continues to champion produce-led menus and vibrant hospitality.
A Legacy of Casual Fine Dining in London
Over the past two decades, Salt Yard Group has carved out a distinctive place in London’s competitive food scene. From joining Urban Pubs & Bars in 2018 to expanding with new openings like Salt Yard Borough in 2022, the brand has evolved while staying true to its roots.
Today, the group is led by restaurateur Dan Henry alongside Executive Chef Łukasz Kielbasiński, who continues to refine its culinary direction.
A Celebratory Chef Series with Top Culinary Talent
To mark the milestone, Salt Yard Group has partnered with Estrella Damm to launch an exclusive chef series running throughout May and June. Curated by acclaimed chef Lee Westcott, the series brings together some of the UK’s most exciting culinary voices for limited-edition menus across its restaurants.
Westcott—known for his work with The Typing Room and Michelin-starred Pensons—has designed the programme to spotlight collaboration and creativity.
Each week, a guest chef will take over a different venue, crafting three signature dishes and hosting an intimate meet-and-greet experience for diners.
