To commemorate the Queen’s 70 years on the throne, for one week only KFC is launching their high and mighty Coronation Chicken Tower Burger. Carefully crafted by the fried chicken experts to delight even the most royal of tastebuds, the new offering consists of Original Recipe 100% breast fillet, cheese, crisp lettuce, brand-new creamy coronation mayo all packed in a toasted sesame bun and crowned with a hashbrown (but don’t worry, pesky raisins have abdicated from the recipe).
A feast fit for our Queen and Sover-hen requires a royal location, which is why the Coronation Chicken Tower Burger will be available exclusively at 11 (not so secret) KFC restaurants across the UK that are either located in Royal Boroughs or nod to the monarchy, such as Kingston and Weoley Castle.
But that’s not all. To celebrate the launch of the burger on Monday 30th May, KFC has partnered with Deliveroo to ensure this Jubilee special arrives in style for some Kings and Queens.
To match the burger’s first-class taste credentials, a few lucky customers will get the chance to win a free Coronation Chicken Tower Burger delivered in true regal fashion via a Coronation Convoy. Made up of a sleek black Range Rover, Land Rover and Deliveroo riders (complete with royally red KFC and Deliveroo teal stripes), the Convoy will give the burger the treatment it rightly deserves. Majestically laid upon a velvet red and teal pillow, it will arrive at your door guarded by a KFC ‘Chickeneater’ – a delivery that’s sure to get the neighbours talking.
