This makes it the first high street restaurant in the UK to put the viral ‘spicy Savvy B’ trend – tipped as the upcoming drink of the summer – on the menu.
Inspired by its iconic American Hot pizza and the online sensation that’s seen wine lovers everywhere dropping jalapeños into their glasses, PizzaExpress invites guests to sip a Sauvignon Blanc with a fiery twist by adding a portion of jalapenos to their glass, for just £1.50.
A spokesperson for the brand said:
“The jalapeño Sauvignon Blanc craze has taken off online, and we’re all about bringing innovative, bold flavours to the table. Now our pizza (and jalapeño) fans can officially order it. Our recommendation: pair it with our famous American Hot for the full fiery experience.”
