London’s rooftop bar scene is about to get even more exciting as Pérola unveils a brand-new cocktail takeover series for spring and summer 2026.
Located on the 15th floor of the stylish art’otel London Battersea Power Station, the sky-high sister venue to acclaimed Iberian restaurant JOIA will host some of the most celebrated cocktail bars from across the UK and Europe for a series of one-night-only events.
Running across May and June, the exclusive takeover programme will feature bespoke cocktail menus, live music and signature JOIA bar snacks — all served against sweeping views of the London skyline.
Edinburgh’s Hey Palu Brings Italian Aperitivo Culture To Battersea
The series begins on 7 May with Hey Palu in partnership with Malfy Gin.
Recognised as No.5 in the UK Top 50 Cocktail Bars list and holder of a prestigious Pinnacle Guide pin, Hey Palu has earned a reputation for its modern classics, intimate atmosphere and extensive Italian amari collection.
For one evening only, guests can expect an expertly curated aperitivo-inspired cocktail menu designed exclusively for Pérola.

Leeds Favourite Tabula Rasa Takes Over On 21 May
On 21 May, acclaimed Leeds cocktail destination Tabula Rasa heads to London in collaboration with No.3 Gin.
Ranked No.27 in the UK Top 50 Cocktail Bars, Tabula Rasa was founded by award-winning mixologist Filippos Filippopoulos and is renowned for visually striking cocktails that combine technical precision with European-inspired creativity.
Guests can expect bold flavour combinations and elevated serves throughout the evening.

Italian Mixology Experts Cloakroom Cocktail Lab Close The Series
The final event lands on 16 June with Cloakroom – Cocktail Lab, sponsored by Lazzaroni and Amaro del Capo.
Hailing from Treviso, the expert team behind Cloakroom Cocktail Lab are known for combining refined Italian hospitality with technical mixology and premium ingredients.
The event promises contemporary Italian flair, innovative serves and a sophisticated rooftop atmosphere in the heart of Battersea.
Signature JOIA Bar Snacks And Live Music
Each event will also feature a specially selected bar snack menu from the JOIA kitchen, including octopus tacos with black aioli, seabass ceviche with green gazpacho and Iberian pork sliders topped with caramelised onion.
Live performances from Pérola’s resident bands will soundtrack the evenings, creating a vibrant late-night atmosphere overlooking the capital.
