MUSIC WEEK POLAND RETURNS TO WARSAW IN 2026: EUROPE’S MUST-ATTEND MUSIC CONFERENCE

Poland’s premier music conference, Music Week Poland, is set to return to Warsaw from 6th to 10th May 2026, uniting artists, industry professionals, and music enthusiasts from across Europe. Now in its second year, the event promises a blend of live performances, industry panels, and educational workshops, solidifying Poland’s reputation as a rising hub for contemporary music.

The conference programme will be hosted at the Museum of Polish History, located at the iconic Warsaw Citadel. By choosing this newly opened cultural venue, Music Week Poland highlights the country’s growing influence on the European arts scene—a momentum recently covered in publications such as The Guardian and Financial Times.

Poland, the 16th largest music market in the world, has emerged as a natural meeting point between East and West, as well as North and South. Music Week Poland goes beyond a traditional conference by fostering collaboration, cultural exchange, and international dialogue, showcasing how music serves not just as entertainment but as a powerful tool for global conversation.

Leadership and Vision

Music Week Poland is led by CEO Tamara Kamińska and Artistic Director Jarek Szubrycht, in collaboration with ZAiKS (Society of Authors and Stage Composers) and Culture Hub Poland (formerly Music Export Poland). Kamińska states:

“Poland serves as a natural bridge between East and West, connecting North and South. Our music industry is growing dynamically, and Polish artists are achieving unprecedented international success. Music Week Poland is about building and nurturing relationships, proving that healthy competition is rooted in cooperation.”

Keynote Speaker Announcement

The first confirmed keynote speaker is Justin O’Connor, author of Culture Is Not An Industry. The global policy expert and academic will discuss the role of culture in society, emphasizing its potential as a space for resistance, imagination, and democratic engagement. O’Connor explains:

“This keynote is a bold call to action. It invites us to reimagine culture not as a commodity, but as a vital part of democratic life—reconnecting it with a radical vision for a fairer future.”

A Curated Lineup of European Talent

Music Week Poland 2026 has already announced its first 10 artists, showcasing the diversity and innovation of Europe’s music scene. Highlights include:

  • Ciśnienie, daltonists, and Loveworms (Poland)

  • IVA (Bulgaria)

  • Haiku Garden (Slovenia)

  • Mildfire (Norway)

  • I Love You Honey Bunny (Czechia)

  • K not K (Romania)

  • Echo Love (Estonia)

  • Luna Kills (Finland)

From indie-rock to jazz, nu-metal, and afrobeats, the festival offers something for every taste. More artists will be announced in the coming weeks, promising an even richer musical experience.

Workshops, Masterclasses, and Networking

Building on the success of its inaugural edition in June 2025, which featured over 60 performances alongside industry panels, Music Week Poland 2026 will expand its educational offerings. Attendees can expect workshops, masterclasses, and networking opportunities, designed to connect creative minds, business leaders, and cultural innovators in a forward-thinking environment.
