If eating out health-consciously is high on your New Year agenda, Mowgli Street Food has just made it a whole lot more exciting. The much-loved Indian restaurant group has launched a brand-new Lite Tiffin, offering vibrant, home-style Indian food for under 600 calories per person — without compromising on flavour.
Designed with sharing in mind, the Lite Tiffin delivers Mowgli’s signature bold and zingy flavours at just £15 per head, making it a great value option for relaxed dining with friends. Each person enjoys two curries and basmati rice to share, alongside a Chat Bomb and soft drink, all carefully balanced to stay within the calorie count.
Unlike many “lighter” menus, Mowgli’s approach doesn’t feel restrictive. Every dish is freshly cooked each morning, using health-giving spices and bright, honest ingredients — proof that nutritious food can still be indulgent.
What’s Included in the Lite Tiffin?
Guests can mix and match from a selection of Mowgli favourites, including:
-
Mother Butter Chicken
-
Aunty Geeta’s Prawn Curry
-
Goan Fish Curry
-
Vegan Temple Dahl
-
Tea-Steeped Chickpeas
There are vegan and non-gluten options available, ensuring everyone at the table can enjoy the experience without compromise.
This lighter launch follows a growing demand for balanced dining options — a trend we’re seeing more of across the UK food scene (read more in our Food & Drink section).
Fan-Favourite Tangled Greens Returns
January also sees the return of a much-loved dish: Tangled Greens. Packed with vibrant flavour, the dish is back as part of Mowgli’s refreshed sharing offering and works perfectly as a curry companion or standout side.
Mowgli Refreshes Its Sharing Menu
Alongside the Lite Tiffin, Mowgli has also revamped its Sharing Menu, now available for £25 per person. The generous spread includes:
-
Chat Bombs
-
Fenugreek Fries
-
Three curries or dahl of your choice
-
Mowgli basmati rice

A roti each
-

It’s a full tour of Mowgli’s most iconic flavours and ideal for group dining or celebrations.
