MOËT & CHANDON AND SILVERSTONE ANNOUNCE LANDMARK FORMULA 1 PARTNERSHIP WITH EXCLUSIVE NEW VIP HOSPITALITY CLUB FOR 2026!

Moët Hennessy has announced a major long-term partnership with legendary British racing circuit Silverstone, home of the Formula 1 British Grand Prix. As part of the agreement, Moët & Chandon will become the Official Champagne of Silverstone, deepening its long-standing connection to motorsport and Formula 1.

The partnership builds on Moët Hennessy’s wider relationship with iconic racing venues, including its collaboration with the Automobile Club de Monaco, reinforcing the Maison’s enduring presence at Formula 1’s most historic circuits.

Silverstone, widely recognised as the birthplace of Formula 1 in 1950, continues to stand as one of the most important venues in global motorsport. Today, it remains a symbol of speed, innovation and sporting heritage, hosting the annual British Grand Prix and welcoming over 1.5 million visitors each year.

The Moët & Chandon Club: A New Era of Luxury Hospitality at Silverstone

A key highlight of the partnership is the launch of an exclusive new hospitality concept for 2026: the Moët & Chandon Club, a bespoke immersive experience located within Silverstone’s Fusion Lounge.

The upgraded VIP space will be transformed into a refined brand home during Formula 1 Grand Prix weekend, offering guests a curated celebration of racing heritage and Champagne craftsmanship.

Inside the Moët & Chandon Club, visitors can expect:

  • A rare exhibition of historic Formula 1 podium Champagne bottles, signed by legendary drivers
  • Bespoke engraved bottles available as personalised keepsakes
  • A menu of specially crafted Champagne cocktails inspired by the Maison’s signature style
  • A podium-inspired photo experience designed to recreate the emotion of victory

The experience aims to blend the adrenaline of Formula 1 with the elegance and heritage of one of the world’s most iconic Champagne houses.

A Natural Home for Champagne, Speed and Celebration

Moët & Chandon’s presence at Silverstone reinforces its position as the Official Champagne of Formula 1, a role it has defined through decades of iconic podium celebrations.

The brand’s connection to motorsport dates back to 1950, when the tradition of Champagne spraying was first introduced at racing celebrations. Since then, it has become a defining symbol of victory on the Formula 1 podium.

Voices from the Partnership

Julie Nollet, Managing Director UK & Ireland at Moët Hennessy, said:

“Silverstone holds a unique place in the world of motorsport, and we’re proud to be partnering with them throughout the year, with the F1 weekend standing out as a defining moment in that partnership. With Moët & Chandon as the official champagne sponsor, we’re pleased to bring a sense of celebration and elegance to one of the most prestigious events in sport.”

Rachel James, Head of Partnerships at Silverstone, added:

“Silverstone has long been at the heart of motorsport, a place where legends are born and history is written. We are delighted to extend our partnership with Moët Hennessy, continuing to bring together two worlds defined by heritage, craftsmanship and timeless excellence.”

A Legacy of Formula 1 Celebration

Moët & Chandon’s relationship with Formula 1 is deeply rooted in tradition. It began at the 1950 Reims Grand Prix, when a bottle was first presented to a race winner—sparking what would become one of sport’s most recognisable celebratory rituals.

Today, carefully preserved Jeroboams are still reserved for Formula 1 podium moments, later signed by winning drivers and shared among teams in celebration of victory.

This tradition reflects the shared values between Moët Hennessy and Formula 1: precision, craftsmanship, teamwork and excellence.
