Vertigo Releasing, in association with IFC and Shudder, is bringing a chilling addition to the UK horror scene with the feature-length film DOLLY, set to hit cinemas on Friday 6th March 2026.
Originally conceived as the short film Babygirl, DOLLY has been fully realised under the vision of director Rod Blackhurst, paying homage to the classic 1970s slasher genre while injecting a fresh, contemporary twist. The film promises a tense, visceral experience for horror fans, combining suspense, gore, and a brooding, atmospheric aesthetic.
A Star-Studded Cast Meets Horror’s New Menace
The film features a mix of established actors and new talent, including Fabianne Therese (John Dies at the End), Russ Tiller (Blood For Dust), Eve Blackhurst, Michalina Scorzelli, Kate Cobb (Okie), alongside Ethan Suplee (My Name Is Earl) and Seann William Scott (American Pie). Stealing the show, however, is Max The Impaler, who embodies the physically imposing and terrifying title character.
