This April, celebrated chef and TV favourite Matt Tebbutt will take over the kitchen at Quaglino’s for a one-night-only dinner showcasing the best of bold, seasonal flavours as part of the restaurant’s ongoing Guest Chef Series. The special events spotlight culinary talent in the iconic Mayfair venue to spotlight and celebrate flavours from around the globe.
Taking place on Thursday 17th April, the evening will mark the arrival of Spring with a menu inspired by hearty British cuisine with a refined, modern twist. Matt has collaborated with Quaglino’s Executive Chef Jack Smith to curate a three-course feast that captures the balance between indulgence and elegance, and served with a side of live music and Mayfair glamour.
The menu features Chalk Stream Trout cured in Cygnet 22 Gin, showstopping Rack of Lamb served with creamy Savoyarde potato, wild mushroom persillade and a rich Bordelaise sauce, and warm gingerbread drizzled with toffee sauce and served with poached apricots and burnt almond cream. Guests will also enjoy a complimentary Cygnet 22 on the rocks, a smooth botanical gin founded by opera singer Katherine Jenkins OB. Live swing from Martin John and his five-piece band will be providing entertainment from 7pm until late.
A chef, author, restaurateur, and host of BBC’s Saturday Kitchen, Matt Tebbutt is known for his easygoing charm and astute take on British cooking.
