Argos and Google have teamed up to give Londoners the chance to win a free Google Pixel 8 Pro with ‘The Great Ex-cape’, as it marks the launch of the new device, on sale at Argos.co.uk and in store.
‘The Great Ex-cape’ will launch on Thursday 16th November in St Pancras International Station by the iconic Tracey Emin neon love sign and offer passers by the chance to free themselves from unwanted ex partners or friends by winning the Google Pixel 8 Pro.
Inspired by the symbol of unbreakable love often found near bridges, most famously the Pont des Arts in Paris, the giant love lock will have multiple padlocks for passersby to try and ‘unlock’ in order to win one of ten Google Pixel 8 Pro phones.
Individuals will be challenged to try and find one of 10 unlockable padlocks at The Great Ex-cape love heart. The winning locks will be disguised amongst hundreds of other locks on the fence, with those who successfully find them taking away a new love for themselves, the Google Pixel 8 Pro.
The brands have teamed up to shine a spotlight on the Google Pixel 8 Pro’s unique magic editor tool, which can remove exes (or anyone else) from your pics. One of life’s most relatable problems, the unique editing features will allow Brits to ‘fix’ their photos and reclaim memories from their camera roll. The Google Pixel 8 Pro also comes armed with a whole host of incredible additional features, including a 50 MP main camera for even more detail and 10.5 MP front camera for your sharpest selfies yet.
For those who aren’t lucky enough to unlock a Google Pixel 8 Pro on the day, or who aren’t able to pop down to St Pancras International Station, the device is available via same day delivery via Argos.co.uk, or can be shopped in store. The Google Pixel 8 Pro will also be available to Click & Collect in over at more than 1,000 Argos locations including over 400 inside Sainsbury’s supermarkets.
