The supermarket has launched its latest Back to School Essentials range, with prices starting at just £1.99. The collection covers everything from school shoes and backpacks to lunch boxes, drinks bottles and stationery.
The range is available in Lidl stores across England and Wales from Thursday 20 August, while stocks last.
Lidl’s £6.99 Leather School Shoes
One of the standout bargains in the range is Lidl’s selection of Kids’ Leather School Shoes, priced at £6.99.
Available in four varieties from kids’ size 10, the shoes feature a leather upper and removable insole. Lidl says shoppers could save up to £40 compared with branded alternatives, making them an appealing option for parents who need to replace school shoes ahead of September.

The Crelando School Backpack assortment costs £11.99, with designs including a cooler-compartment option and a glow-in-the-dark variation.
For younger pupils looking for something a little more characterful, the Character Backpack costs £4.99 and features a 3D design. Designs include popular characters such as Stitch, Spider-Man and Barbie.
There are also Marvel and Stitch Character Backpacks priced at £8.99.
