Fans of Naturally Fast Food are in for a treat as LEON Restaurants celebrates the return of its much-loved Fish Finger Wrap with a nostalgic British chippy takeover in London.
For one weekend only — 14th and 15th March 2026 — LEON’s Regent Street location will be transformed into The LEON Chippy, a playful, seaside-inspired experience celebrating comfort food, nostalgia and fan favourites.
The activation reflects LEON’s ongoing commitment to its Naturally Fast Food philosophy, blending classic British takeaway culture with high-quality sourcing and modern culinary techniques.

The Return of the Iconic Fish Finger Wrap
At the heart of the celebration is the return of the legendary Fish Finger Wrap, the first dish to return as part of LEON’s new Icon Dishes programme.
The initiative is designed to revive customer favourites with upgraded ingredients, improved sourcing and a refined chef-led approach — bringing back beloved flavours while improving quality and nutrition.
The Fish Finger Wrap features:
-
Sustainably sourced pollock fish fingers
-
Peppery rocket
-
LEON’s signature tartare sauce made with gherkins, capers and fresh herbs
The wrap is baked rather than fried, offering a natural source of protein and omega-3 fatty acids while keeping classic British flavours intact.
What to Expect at The LEON Chippy Takeover
The pop-up Chippy will serve the Fish Finger Wrap alongside traditional seaside-style sides, including:
-
Waffle fries
-
Crushed peas
-
A choice of beer or a classic cup of tea
To celebrate the launch, LEON is giving away:
-
The first 100 Fish Finger Wraps free each day
-
Pin badges for every guest
-
Scratchcards with prizes ranging from free meals to a year’s worth of LEON
The experience is designed to combine nostalgia with modern fast-casual dining culture, giving customers a fun, immersive brand moment.
A New Era for Naturally Fast Food
The Chippy activation also marks a wider brand evolution. Following the return of founder John Vincent, LEON is reconnecting with the dishes that originally built its reputation while introducing refreshed menu ideas for the future.
Vincent commented:
“This is the one dish I had in mind when we created LEON in 2004 — and the first dish I wanted to bring back. Our guests wanted it back too. I will be first in line.”
The return of classic dishes signals LEON’s strategy to balance nostalgia with innovation as it prepares for its upcoming Spring menu launch.
