LEGO Festival 2026 is set to return to LEGOLAND Windsor Resort with more energy, creativity and interactive play than ever before, as LEGO F1 is announced as the headline attraction for the brand-new Thrill Zone.
Running from 20 July to 31 August 2026, the limited-time festival will transform the resort into a multi-zone celebration of imagination, designed for families to take the lead, build together and dive into hands-on experiences inspired by music, creativity, relaxation and high-speed racing.
LEGO Festival 2026 Brings a Summer of Interactive Family Play
The LEGO Festival is built around one core idea: kids lead the way. Across five immersive zones – Music, Creative, Chill Out, Play and the all-new Thrill Zone – families will be encouraged to build, explore and collaborate through a series of live experiences and interactive challenges.
The festival will run at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort, with additional events taking place across six global LEGOLAND Resorts, including LEGOLAND® California, LEGOLAND Deutschland, LEGOLAND Florida, LEGOLAND New York and LEGOLAND Shanghai.

LEGO F1 Takes Pole Position in the New Thrill Zone
This year’s headline attraction sees LEGO F1 take centre stage in the Thrill Zone, marking the first major IP partnership announced for LEGO Festival 2026.
The experience is designed to replicate the excitement of a Formula 1 race weekend, combining speed, teamwork and creativity in a fully interactive environment.
Families will be able to take part in hands-on racing builds, pit crew-style challenges and live entertainment inspired by motorsport culture.

Brick Stop Challenge: A Race Against the Clock
One of the standout attractions is the Brick Stop Challenge, where families work together as an official pit crew to complete the fastest LEGO F1 tyre change.
Set around a larger-than-life LEGO F1 car, the challenge tests coordination, communication and speed – bringing race-day pressure into a playful, family-friendly setting.
Pit Lane Hype Show Delivers Live Race-Day Energy
Adding to the atmosphere is the Pit Lane Hype Show, a live drum and percussion performance created entirely using tools and snapping LEGO® bricks.
The beat-driven experience is designed to mirror the intensity of a race weekend pit lane, turning the Thrill Zone into a high-energy celebration where families can dance, cheer and feel part of the action.

Become Race Engineers for the Day
For guests looking to take the competition further, the festival offers a chance to step into the role of race engineers.
Children and adults can design, build and test their own LEGO F1 brick vehicles, experimenting with ideas to improve speed and performance before racing them against others.
It’s a hands-on introduction to engineering thinking, wrapped in the playful spirit of LEGO construction.
Spotlight on F1 ACADEMY: Inspiring the Next Generation
The Thrill Zone will also highlight F1 ACADEMY, a junior motorsport championship created to support and promote female talent in racing.
The initiative aims to inspire more girls to see themselves in motorsport, offering visibility and encouragement within a traditionally male-dominated industry.
