Manchester is set for a joyful celebration of early parenthood this June, as a one-off comedy and play experience arrives at the city’s iconic Royal Exchange Theatre. Titled Little Wins, Big Laughs, the event blends stand-up comedy and guided toddler play in a unique collaboration powered by Peanut and inspired by LEGO DUPLO creativity.
Taking place on 14th June, the event invites parents and toddlers to share an afternoon of laughter, community and hands-on play—celebrating the messy, magical “firsts” of early childhood.
What is “Little Wins, Big Laughs”?
Little Wins, Big Laughs is a limited-run family experience designed to give parents a well-earned break while children enjoy structured, developmental play.
While adults enjoy an exclusive comedy show, children aged 1–5 are looked after in supervised playrooms built around real cognitive and emotional developmental milestones. These sessions are designed using LEGO DUPLO play sets, encouraging creativity, coordination and confidence-building through play.

A Star-Studded Comedy Line-Up Celebrating Parenthood
The comedy programme brings together some of the UK’s most recognisable voices in parenting humour and stand-up.
Headlining the event is award-winning comedian, author and broadcaster Sara Pascoe, known for her sharp, honest takes on relationships, motherhood and modern life.
She is joined by:
- Hannah East, viral social media comedy creator
- Matt Coyne, author and creator of Man vs Baby
- Dr Michael Akadiri, comedian and practising doctor, hosting the event

LEGO DUPLO Playrooms for Children Aged 1–5
While parents relax, children will be split into two age-appropriate play spaces:
- LEGO DUPLO Playroom (ages 1–3)
- LEGO Preschool Playroom (ages 4–5)
Each space is designed around developmental learning goals, including:
- Fine motor skills
- Hand-eye coordination
- Early problem-solving
- Creative confidence
Children will engage in guided activities using sets such as:
