KTM MotoGP bike beats Red Bull Racing F1 car in drag race to win Red Bull and carwow’s Ultimate Race

In its latest motorsport video partnership, titled The Ultimate Race, Red Bull has teamed up with carwow to put an F1 car, a MotoGP bike, an FIA World Rally Championship car, an FIA World Rallycross car, and a Ford E-Transit supervan in a five-way drag race and find out which vehicle is the king of straight-line speed.

In what may be considered a surprising result, Pedrosa’s MotoGP bike came out on top, winning all three races in a best of three series to claim victory in The Ultimate Race. A final twist in the plot also saw Romain Dumas’ Ford E-Transit supervan beat Liam Lawson’s RB8 F1 car to second place in the third and final race, showcasing the vehicle’s impressive power and acceleration.

The full race line-up featured the following vehicles and Red Bull motorsport athletes:

  • Red Bull Racing’s 2012 F1 world championship-winning RB8 car – driven by Alpha Tauri F1 driver Liam Lawson
  • Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s RC16 MotoGP bike – rode by Spanish MotoGP legend Dani Pedrosa
  • A 600 horsepower, 2.0L engine Rallycross car – driven by 2019 FIA World Rallycross champion Timmy Hansen
  • A 550 horsepower World Rally Championship car – driven by M-Sport Ford World Rally Team’s Adrien Fourmaux
  • A 1,500kW (equivalent to 2,040 horsepower) Ford E-Transit supervan – driven by Romain Dumas
