KOKUM RETURNS WITH A NEPALESE-INSPIRED SUPPER CLUB LED BY CHEF SUNDAR

After the resounding success of KOKUM’s first supper club last month, the beloved South London restaurant is back with an exciting new dining experience. On Tuesday 26th November at 7PM, KOKUM will host its second supper club, this time transporting guests to the vibrant streets of Kathmandu with a Nepalese-inspired evening curated by Head Chef Sundar.

For one night only, KOKUM’s kitchen will be handed over to Chef Sundar, who brings more than 12 years of culinary expertise and a lifetime of inspiration from his hometown of Kathmandu. Diners can expect an authentic taste of Nepal through dishes that pay homage to Chef Sundar’s childhood favourites, all presented with the signature creativity KOKUM is known for.

A Journey Through Nepalese Flavours

The evening begins with a trio of sharing starters, featuring:

  • Chilli Chicken Momos – classic Nepalese dumplings with a Himalayan-style sweet and spicy glaze

  • Lamb Choila – tender lamb marinated in bold Nepalese spices

  • Kathmandu Chaat – a colourful mix of phool makhana, roasted chickpeas, moong sprouts, sev, and puffed rice

For the main course, guests can enjoy a Nepalese-Chinese fusion favourite: Chicken Chopsuey, made with crispy noodles, tender chicken, and bok choi in a Himalayan-spiced broth. This will be served alongside Mutton Curry and steamed rice.

To finish on a sweet note, the menu features Everest Kulfi, a dessert inspired by the snow-capped peaks of Nepal.

How to Book

Tickets are priced at £45 per person and must be booked in advance via KOKUM’s official website. The supper club will take place at 58–60 East Dulwich Road, Southwark, SE22 9AX.
