Introducing DL/ Service, London’s stylish new seasonal, all-day neighbourhood cafés

Derwent London, whose core business is to design and curate long-life, low carbon, intelligent offices, is excited to introduce DL/ Service to its London portfolio. The new offering, open to the public, comprises beautifully designed, all-day neighbourhood cafés located in four of its buildings in Fitzrovia, Old Street and Whitechapel.

Serving expertly crafted Extract Coffee as well as a generous selection of breakfast, lunch and snack options, each DL/ Service café offers a welcoming, comfortable, and contemporary escape from the bustle of the capital.

“We see our role going beyond the responsibilities of a traditional landlord. We strive to build long-term relationships, create a positive sense of community, and deliver best-in-class service and amenity for all those who occupy our buildings. As part of this commitment, we have recently launched DL/ Service and are delighted to extend this amenity to both those who occupy our buildings and those within our local communities.”

Emily Prideaux, Executive Director at Derwent London

Set within Derwent London’s considered, design-led office buildings, all four of the easily accessible cafés reflect our community-focused, detail-oriented ethos, offering high-quality fresh food and drink prepared with seasonality in mind.

DL/ Service at DL/78 in Fitzrovia, White Collar Factory in Old Street (pictured above), and The White Chapel Building in Whitechapel all feature a wide-ranging menu including made-to-order smoothies and juices, brunch and bakery items, freshly prepared sandwiches and a deli counter brimming with nourishing salads and protein options. Nestled within The Featherstone Building, the second Old Street DL/ Service café serves a more concise selection of coffee, soft drinks, and freshly baked goods.

While menus vary according to location and seasonality, highlights at the three food-led locations include the delicious, nutritious Avo Go-Go smoothie containing mango, spinach, broccoli, avocado, coconut, lime and ginger; the DL Breakfast Burrito featuring Smoky Bacon, Crispy Hashbrown, Guacamole, Egg, Shredded Veggies & Salsa; the DL Club starring Roast Chicken, Streaky Bacon, Plum Tomato, Gem Lettuce, Free Range Mayonnaise on Sourdough; a classic Nicoise Salad, a Moroccan Spiced Cous Cous with Chickpeas, Apricot, Golden Raisins, Red Onion, Coriander; and Aubergine & Tomato Salad with Tahini Yoghurt Dressing.
