IKOYI LAUNCHES FIRST TAKEAWAY MENU ON UBER EATS

Executive Chef Jeremy Chan of two Michelin-starred Ikoyi has developed an exceptional 5-dish delivery menu for two days only, exclusively available on Uber Eats.

The menu showcases Jeremy’s love of takeaways, drawing inspiration from Ikoyi’s signature flavours and a creative cookery style that has ensured the restaurant’s place as one of the country’s finest.

The move marks Ikoyi’s first foray into the world of delivery, with dishes especially developed for Uber Eats, drawing inspiration from takeaways with a twist of Ikoyi flavours. The menu includes a flavour-packed green slaw and crispy fried chicken with the Ikoyi classic combo of scotch bonnet and raspberry salt. In addition, and for the first time outside the restaurant, customers will be able to enjoy Ikoyi’s famous take on Jollof Rice in the comfort of their own home.

The Uber Eats Hosts Ikoyi menu will be priced at £60, allowing customers an accessible opportunity to experience some of the tastes and flavours that have made Ikoyi one of the best restaurants in the world.

Often heralded as the most creative restaurant in the country, Ikoyi is the latest restaurant to join the Uber Eats Hosts series, which brings the world’s most renowned restaurants alongside new and exciting food experiences to your home.

Ikoyi burst onto the scene in 2017 and gained the One to Watch Award at The World’s 50 Best Restaurants Awards in 2021. Since then, co-founders Jeremy Chan and Iré Hassan-Odukale have gone from strength to strength, with a second Michelin star and the number 35 slot in The World’s 50 Best Restaurant List in 2023.

Jeremy’s approach to cooking is truly unique, combining exceptional seasonal British produce with an incredible global store cupboard of ingredients. The result is a series of continually evolving dishes, elegantly balanced and full of the tastes and flavours of the season.

Jeremy Chan, Executive Chef and Co-Founder of Ikoyi, said: “I often enjoy delivery food at home myself when I’m not working. When Uber Eats approached us, we were delighted to partner with them and share some of the tastes and flavours of Ikoyi for people to enjoy at home for the first time.”

Matthew Price, General Manager UK, Ireland and Northern Europe at Uber Eats said: “We created our Uber Eats Hosts series to bring some of the nation’s best, and often hard-to-access, restaurants to our customers. After the success of Ynyshir, we are so excited to bring Ikoyi on board in the next stage of our series. This menu is truly incredible and this will be the only chance to taste it!”

In addition, for those looking to celebrate a drinks pairing has been devised as an additional extra featuring two cocktails that have been crafted specially to be enjoyed alongside the menu alongside an Eko Lager and a palate cleansing soft drink.

Jeremy and the Ikoyi team will be cooking the menu for Uber Eats customers located in central London on the 10th for Uber One members, and 11th of May for everyone between 5-10pm, priced at £60 per person. The drinks pairing is available as an optional extra, priced at £25.
