Global K-pop sensation i-dle have officially returned with their highly anticipated ninth mini album, We made, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for one of the industry’s most influential self-produced girl groups.
Released on 6 July 2026 via CUBE Entertainment and BMG, the five-track project showcases the group’s signature creative freedom while introducing fresh musical influences, emotional storytelling and an infectious summer anthem in the form of ‘Gimme Dat Love’. The comeback also arrives just weeks before the group takes to one of the world’s biggest festival stages at Lollapalooza Chicago on 31 July.
A New Creative Chapter for i-dle
Since debuting in 2018, i-dle have become one of K-pop’s defining acts thanks to their rare level of artistic involvement. Members MIYEON, MINNIE, SOYEON, YUQI and SHUHUA continue to write, produce and shape much of their own music, helping distinguish the group from many of their contemporaries.
We made follows the success of 2025’s We are and represents the latest evolution of the group’s creative identity. Its title deliberately mirrors 2019’s I made, reflecting both their artistic journey and their continued commitment to making music on their own terms.
‘Gimme Dat Love’ Is This Summer’s Feel-Good Anthem!
Leading the mini album is ‘Gimme Dat Love’, an upbeat Latin-pop inspired single driven by bright whistles, energetic rhythms and an effortlessly catchy chorus.
The song embraces carefree romance while maintaining the confident, genre-blending style fans have come to expect from i-dle. It feels tailor-made for summer playlists and festival stages alike.
The accompanying music video further highlights the group’s charismatic performance style and bold visual direction.
Exploring Every Side of We made
Beyond its lead single, We made offers a diverse collection of tracks that highlight the group’s musical versatility.
Tracklist
- Mono (feat. skaiwater)
- Gimme Dat Love
- Morning
- Crow
- Love Is Pain
The previously released ‘Mono’ featuring British artist skaiwater first hinted at the group’s evolving sound, while ‘Crow’ introduced a heavier rock-inspired edge centred around resilience and self-belief.
Meanwhile, ‘Morning’ balances reflective lyricism with warm melodies, and closing track ‘Love Is Pain’, written by member YUQI, delivers an emotional ballad showcasing another dimension of the group’s songwriting talents.
Building Global Momentum
The release comes during a period of significant international growth for i-dle.
Over recent months, the group has:
- Appeared on NBC’s Today Show
- Performed on The Kelly Clarkson Show
- Featured on a digital cover for PAPER Magazine
- Surpassed 57 million followers across social media
- Accumulated billions of career streams worldwide
Their expanding global presence continues with an appearance at Lollapalooza Chicago 2026, introducing even more audiences to their acclaimed live performances.
Few K-pop groups maintain as much creative control over their music as i-dle.
From songwriting and production to overall creative direction, the members remain deeply involved in every release. That artistic independence has earned praise from publications including Rolling Stone UK, CLASH, GRAMMY.com, Billboard, Teen Vogue and USA Today, all recognising the group’s willingness to challenge conventions within modern pop music.
Rather than following trends, We made reinforces i-dle’s reputation for confidently creating their own.
Following the release of We made, i-dle are set to continue their global expansion with the 2026 i-dle WORLD TOUR [Syncopation], alongside major festival appearances throughout the summer.
With Gimme Dat Love already making waves and the group’s biggest international performances still to come, 2026 is shaping up to be another landmark year for one of K-pop’s most innovative acts.
