Hot Takes for NFL Week 3

Week 3 of the NFL had some impressive wins and losses. Unlike the past two weeks, there were not as many significant injuries. However, there were a lot of unexpected wins this week from previously written-off underdogs. These games messed with quite a few fantasy teams, and the unexpected wins this week have changed some opinions of the season so far.

Any Chances for the 0-3 Teams?

Only three teams in the NFL have a 0-3 record, and some of the teams that have not won yet are shocking: the Cincinnati Bengals, Jacksonville Jaguars, and the Tennessee Titans. These teams’ seasons are over when it has barely begun. The Titans weren’t expected to do much this season except focus on their rebuild. With the way the season is going, it seems as though the rebuild is going rough, to say the least. The Jaguars and the Bengals were expected to be competitive this season. For these teams, I would wash this season and start prepping for the next; there is no coming back for them. The Bengals lost this week to the Commanders in Week 3. Could it get any worse? The Commanders have been getting better, but this team should have been a win against the Bengals. At least the Jaguars and the Titans have been playing against some competitive teams. Fans of these teams, I would go to your backup team and start rooting for them. This season is over, I would start looking towards the future,

Are the 49ers still a powerhouse?

The 49ers lost to the Rams in Week 3. Injury after injury, the 49ers are dropping like flies. Although there are a bunch of injuries on the 49ers, this is no excuse since the Rams are dealing with major injuries too. It’s still up in the air when Christian McCaffrey is coming back. However, the Rams got this win without Puka Nucuka and Cooper Kupp. Will the 49ers make it back to the championship? With what they’re showing now, the answer seems to be no. With or without their powerhouses throughout the team, the 49ers need to win, no questions asked. They need to take back the power.

Are the Ravens back for real?

With their exciting one and only win, Ravens fans will be quick to say they’re back. The Ravens’ two losses were nail-biter, but they were still losses. Their record will still reflect those two wins. The Ravens have an uphill battle, but I think they still have a chance. In order to keep this chance, they must continue to win in the coming weeks. It’s on Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry to carry their team to victory. The hype will slowly start coming back, but I think for good reason. Week 3 showed more of the “normal” Ravens that everyone expected this season.

3-0 Teams Who’s the Best?

Going into Week 4, there are five teams that are undefeated: the Bills, the Chiefs, the Steelers, the Seahawks, and the Vikings. Some of these teams seem to deserve to be undefeated more than others. The Bills seem to have an it-factor this season. Many people wrote them off without having many weapons for Josh Allen to utilize, but Allen has taken this team to the top so far, making sure to use his entire offense.  The Bills are here to play, and I think they are the best 3-0 team right now.

Do the Chiefs Have What It Takes?

The Chiefs are people’s favorite, but I do not think they have what it takes to go back to the Super Bowl again. Although they are 3-0, the referees have been the best players for the Chiefs so far. The Chiefs have seemed very bland and not a standout team. They need to pump it up in order to get back to their past. I do not think this Chiefs team has what it takes to get to the next level.

Which Division is the Worst Right Now?

AFC South is the worst division in the NFL right now. Half of the teams, the Titans and the Jaguars, are 0-3, and only one team has a winning record, the Texans. It is the battle of the worst teams right now. Who will take this division is up in the air between the Texans and the Colts, but I am confident that every team within this division will not make it past round 1 of playoffs if they make it.
