Families visiting London this summer can step inside an immersive farm-inspired world as HelloFresh partners with the Natural History Museum to launch The Curious Kitchen, a free interactive experience designed to reconnect children and parents with the journey of food from farm to table.
Running from 27 July to 30 August 2026, the installation invites visitors to explore where ingredients come from, harvest virtual produce, and work together to create a meal through a hands-on cooking experience.
A New Family Attraction for the Summer Holidays
Located inside the iconic Natural History Museum, The Curious Kitchen has been designed to make learning about food production engaging and interactive for visitors of all ages.
Families can wander through an immersive farm environment, collecting ingredients from different areas before gathering around an interactive dining table. As each ingredient is added to a chosen HelloFresh recipe, the experience reveals the story behind the food, explaining where it was grown and how it eventually reaches the dinner table.
The attraction aims to encourage conversations around food origins while making mealtimes more engaging and educational for younger visitors.
Exploring the Journey From Farm to Fork
The installation allows children and parents to discover how ingredients move through the food chain in a fun and accessible format.

According to Philip Doran, CEO of HelloFresh UK & Ireland, the company wanted to create an experience that helps families understand the origins of their food while spending quality time together.
He explained that understanding where food comes from is an important part of appreciating what ends up on our plates and that The Curious Kitchen was designed to inspire curiosity in younger generations through hands-on learning.
The partnership with the Natural History Museum also aligns with the museum’s educational mission, helping visitors engage with topics connected to food, sustainability and the natural world.

The Curious Kitchen forms part of the Natural History Museum’s wider summer activities, giving visitors another reason to spend a day at one of London’s most popular attractions.
Adam Farrar, Director of Commercial and Visitor Experience at the museum, said the installation offers families a memorable and interactive way to learn while supporting the museum’s mission of inspiring future advocates for the planet.
