HAMILTON TEAMS UP WITH CAPCOM FOR RESIDENT EVIL REQUIEM WITH TWO LIMITED-EDITION IN-GAME AND IRL WATCHES!

Swiss-American watchmaker Hamilton is expanding its creative footprint in gaming with a brand-new collaboration alongside Capcom, unveiled as part of Resident Evil Requiem the next major entry in the legendary Resident Evil franchise. Blending luxury watchmaking with survival-horror storytelling, the partnership introduces two limited-edition Hamilton watches designed specifically for the game’s characters, narrative and fans.

The collaboration reinforces Hamilton’s growing reputation as the watchmaker of game makers, following its earlier integrations across film, television and interactive entertainment.

A New Chapter In The Resident Evil Timeline!

Set nearly 30 years after the Raccoon City outbreak, Resident Evil Requiem promises one of the franchise’s most immersive experiences to date. Players will step into the stories of FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft and series icon Leon S. Kennedy, whose contrasting playstyles — investigative precision versus high-intensity combat — intersect across a tense, emotional survival-horror narrative.

Hamilton worked directly with Capcom’s development team to ensure that each watch feels authentic to its wearer, both narratively and functionally, appearing in-game as part of the characters’ equipment while also launching as real-world timepieces.

Leon S. Kennedy’s Watch: Khaki Field Auto Chrono

Worn by veteran agent Leon S. Kennedy, the Khaki Field Auto Chrono Resident Evil Requiem Limited Edition reflects decades of combat experience and survival instincts.

The 42mm black PVD-coated steel case is packed with subtle storytelling details. The crown is modelled after a sniper scope knob, while the chronograph pushers echo bullet cartridges, reinforcing Leon’s tactical background. A distinctive black wing motif at the 9 o’clock position — mirrored by an emblem on the caseback — symbolises prayers for fallen comrades, adding emotional weight to the design.

Powered by Hamilton’s H-21 automatic chronograph movement with a 60-hour power reserve and Nivachron™ balance spring, the watch balances rugged durability with Swiss precision.

Grace Ashcroft’s Watch: American Classic Pan Europ

In contrast, Grace Ashcroft’s timepiece reflects intelligence, analysis and quiet resilience. The American Classic Pan Europ Resident Evil Requiem Limited Edition features a sleek black-and-gold aesthetic that mirrors Grace’s forensic mindset.

A gold line runs down the centre of the black leather strap, while gold accents continue across the dial, outer ring and bezel numerals. Geometric engravings on the caseback further underline the watch’s analytical, structured design language, creating a striking “gold & noir” contrast.

The watch houses the H-30 automatic movement with an extended 80-hour power reserve, offering elegance without sacrificing performance.

From Digital Horror To Real-World Craftsmanship

Both watches are limited to 2,000 units each and will launch globally on February 27, 2026, alongside Resident Evil Requiem. By appearing in-game and IRL, the collaboration blurs the line between digital storytelling and physical craftsmanship — a growing trend in both gaming and luxury culture.

Hamilton’s history of cinematic integration includes iconic appearances in films such as Interstellar and Tenet, and the brand previously made history by designing the first branded watch to appear in a video game. This Capcom partnership continues that legacy, proving that even in a world defined by fear, tension and survival, every second matters.
