GET SHEARED! THE ALPACALYPSE SHEARER SHOP BRINGS THE UK’S HOTTEST HAIR TREND TO SHOREDITCH

Londoners are flocking to Shoreditch for the launch of The Alpacalypse Shearer Shop, a one-of-a-kind pop-up experience offering guests the chance to get a complimentary “Alpaca Back and Sides” haircut, perfectly paired with a pint of the new Alpacalypse Session IPA.

This summer, a new style has taken hold: the Alpaca Back and Sides. It’s the unexpected ‘it’ cut sweeping across social media, and now, Alpacalypse Session IPA is bringing it to life. For two days only, on July 30th and 31st, guests can experience this unique pairing: the must-have Alpaca Back and Sides hairstyle and a refreshing pint of the brand new Alpacalypse 4.3% Session IPA. Get ready for sharp lines, textured volume, and an easy-going, crisp brew – it’s an unforgettable experience that’s anything but sheepish.

The Alpaca Back and Sides is a modern, textured take on the French crop, already gaining popularity in salons and barbershops across the UK. Its versatility and low-maintenance style make it a perfect choice for the summer. The style has been spotted on celebrities like Paul Mescal and James Norton, appealing to trend-conscious individuals seeking an effortlessly cool look, that proves sometimes, the best hair-spiration comes from the most unexpected places.

At The Alpacalypse Shearer Shop, expert barbers are ready to transform your look. Choose between the full-on Alpaca Back and Sides for a bold statement or opt for the Mini Shear – a quicker style for those who want just a subtle, yet undeniably on-trend, alpaca-inspired touch.

“Who knew an alpaca could be such hair-spiration? The Alpaca Back and Sides is undeniably the most fun trend we’re seeing right now,” says Richard Tucker, Senior Stylist at Ruffians. “It’s a kind of 80s farmyard mashup, and we’re delighted to host The Alpacalypse Shearer Shop, bringing this unique phenomenon to East London.”

The Alpacalypse Shearer Shop and its namesake IPA draw inspiration from ‘Al’, the brand’s quirky alpaca character, and the rich history of Saltaire, West Yorkshire. This connection is a tribute to Saltaire’s textile industry, highlighting the alpaca’s famously robust and flame-retardant wool, as well as embodying the animal’s calm and collected spirit.

Alpacalypse uses American hops to create an easy-going, slightly hazy pale ale with a citrus aroma, subtle tropical flavour and a gentle bitterness, delivering a light and refreshing finish. Making it the perfect choice for both seasoned craft beer drinkers and IPA newcomers.

Limited walk-in slots are available.
