One of the most influential figures in global hip-hop, Future, will headline Open’er Festival in his only confirmed European festival show so far.
Recently welcoming global rock powerhouse Muse as a headliner for July, Open’er Festival 2025 boasts an incredible bill boasting the likes of Linkin Park, Massive Attack, Nine Inch Nails, Gracie Abrams, Doechii, Justice, Camila Cabello, FKA Twigs, Tyla, St. Vincent, Caribou, Lola Young, Magdalena Bay, Jorja Smith, J Balvin, Schoolboy Q, Peso Pluma, Arca and many more.
Known for his groundbreaking sound and melodic vocal style, Grammy award-winning Future rose to fame in the early 2010s and became a key factor in Atlanta’s grip on the Billboard charts, often with production support from fellow ATL natives and dwellers. He quickly dominated the scene with a flurry of mixtapes, albums, and global smashes like “Mask Off” and “Life Is Good” and continued to hover at the top of his game, both commercially and creatively, in the years that followed.
Future helped define the sound and shape of modern trap, constantly evolving his style. He has amassed dozens of Top 10 hits, both as a lead artist and a collaborator, and placed 11 albums atop Billboard 200 — including “DS2”, “Evol”, “Future”, “Hndrxx”, “The Wizrd”, “High Off Life”, “I Never Liked You”. In 2024, with “Mixtape Pluto” and two collaborations with Metro Boomin (“We Don’t Trust You”, “We Still Don’t Trust You”) which included the monumental “Like That”, he made history as the first rapper to score three US No. 1 albums in a single year. Future continues to shape the genre. His impact and artistic consistency make him one of the most important artists of his generation.
