Anime fans, get ready! Caitlin Glass, the voice behind the beloved Winry Rockbell in Fullmetal Alchemist, is heading to MCM Birmingham Comic Con this November. The announcement, made today by organisers ReedPop, has sent waves of excitement through the anime community.
Known for her iconic roles in fan-favourite series including Ouran High School Host Club, My Hero Academia, One Piece and Attack on Titan, Glass will be meeting fans for autographs and photo ops across all three days of the convention.
Interestingly, Glass landed her defining role as Winry Rockbell after reading just one line during an unrelated audition — a moment that would go on to define her anime career. Since then, she’s not only lent her voice to countless characters but also stepped behind the mic as a director. Her voiceover directorial debut came in 2006 with Suzuka, and she’s since become one of the directors for the legendary One Piece series.
MCM Birmingham Comic Con is no stranger to major talent, hosting stars from the worlds of anime, gaming, TV and film. Attendees can expect exclusive panels, cosplay showcases, artist alleys, and immersive fan experiences throughout the weekend.
