Red Bull Tetris, the next evolution of the iconic puzzle game, today launches its UK National Qualifiers, open from 6th August to 31st October 2025.
With the Red Bull Tetris tournament announced in June, over 1,054,963 games have already been played worldwide as competitors race up the leaderboards in the hopes of making it to the finals in Dubai. Celebrating more than 40 years of Tetris, Red Bull Tetris combines the classic game with exciting new twists: gravity shifts, speed boosts, time-limited rounds and game-altering power-ups.
With over 55 countries participating, hopeful competitors in the UK can put their skills to the test on mobile at www.redbulltetris.com to vie for a qualifying spot at the top of the leaderboard. The two best scoring players will then be invited to go head-to-head on PC in-person in a 1vs1 format at the UK National Finals later this year, for a chance to represent the UK in Dubai. Versatility is key in this unique multiplatform format!

After advancing through the qualifiers, the winner of the UK’s National Final will gear up for the ultimate Tetris showdown, as top players from across the globe converge in Dubai from December 11–13 at the Red Bull Tetris World Final. The World Finals span three unforgettable days across the desert and city, blending immersive experiences, music performances, and special guest appearances. In the lead-up to the main event, finalists will enter a seeding round to determine their placement in the Global Tournament. From there, they’ll battle it out in intense 1v1 matchups. Then, on December 13th, the two top players will face off in the Grand Final -competing on a playable Tetris game rendered by over 2,000+ synchronised drones, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Dubai Frame in a world-first gaming spectacle.
Whether playing for a chance at the Red Bull Tetris Champion title or simply stacking Tetriminos for fun, players should also keep an eye out for the unique ‘Golden Tetrimino’. If broken in-game, the special block offers entry into the chance to win one of five experiences to witness the electrifying World Final in-person.
