Hot off the biggest footballing announcement of the year, comes the exclusive reveal of unofficial photos featuring Gary Northfence’s all-star squad, chosen to bring it home this year. From Jock Grilledfish’s grin to Harold Kone’s smooth skin, you’ll be forgiven for thinking our players have lined up in fine form…that is, until you take your glasses off!
That’s right; at first glance, you’ll see some strangely familiar faces, with names you’ve heard chanted from the terraces, but you’ll soon be thinking you Should’ve Gone to Specsavers when you realise there’s an entirely new squad in town – and they just so happen to be our dream team’s doppelgangers.
Full of fresh hope and even fresher trims, the lookalikes have teamed up with Specsavers to bend the ball as part of its very own Second Squad. Each of the lads are football fans in their own right and jumped at the chance to come together on social media to cheer on the official squad as they head to the tournament next week.
The doppelgangers completing the line-up are Harold Kone, Saleem Swirling, Jock Grilledfish, Larry McChoir, Jordy Pitchfork, Buck Soka, and Jordy Brendanson, all brought together by manager, Gary Northface.
