Two beloved stars from the cult sci-fi series Firefly are heading to London this spring, as Nathan Fillion and Alan Tudyk have been confirmed for MCM London Comic Con this May.
The pair famously portrayed two of the most memorable characters aboard the spaceship Serenity in Firefly. Fillion starred as Captain Malcolm Reynolds, the determined and charismatic leader of the crew, while Tudyk played the cheerful and eccentric pilot Hoban “Wash” Washburne. Their performances helped cement the show’s status as one of television’s most beloved cult sci-fi classics.
Firefly Legacy Lives On
Although Firefly originally aired for just one season, it went on to become a global cult favourite among science-fiction fans. The story continued in the 2005 film Serenity, which reunited the cast and expanded the universe first introduced in the series.
Nathan Fillion remains widely recognised for his role as Captain Malcolm Reynolds, but his career has continued to flourish with leading roles in major television hits including Castle and The Rookie. He has also lent his voice to numerous animated projects and video games.
Alan Tudyk has similarly built an impressive career across film, television and voice acting. Beyond his role as Wash, Tudyk has appeared in projects such as A Knight’s Tale, Frozen, Moana, and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, where he portrayed the fan-favourite droid K-2SO.
Both actors will appear on Saturday and Sunday during MCM London Comic Con, with opportunities for fans to attend panels, take photos, and collect autographs. Full schedules are expected to be announced closer to the event.
More Voice Acting Talent Joining the Line-Up
The event will also welcome Angela Sant’ Albano, known as the voice of Grace Ashcroft. She will appear across all three days of the convention for autograph sessions and photo opportunities.
Fans of the animated series Helluva Boss will also have the chance to meet several of the show’s voice actors. Richard Horvitz, Vivian Nixon Williams, and Erika Henningsen — the voices behind Moxxie, Millie, and Charlie Morningstar — are scheduled to appear at the event.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars Cast Reunion
There’s even more excitement for Star Wars fans, as several cast members from Star Wars: The Clone Wars will also attend across all three days of the show.
Confirmed guests include Matt Lanter, James Arnold Taylor, Nika Futterman, Catherine Taber, Dee Bradley Baker, and Ashley Eckstein. The cast will take part in autograph sessions, photo opportunities, and a special panel available to Friday Priority and Weekend Ticket holders.
MCM Birmingham Guests Also Announced
In addition to the London event, more guests have been revealed for MCM Birmingham Comic Con, taking place from 7–9 August 2026.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet John Eric Bentley, Britt Baron, and Suzie Yeung for autographs and photo opportunities.
