The UK has officially crowned its first-ever Red Bull Tetris National Champion, as York-based player Eve “EvesyLive” secured a razor-thin victory at the Red Bull Gaming Sphere in London. The high-energy tournament—run in partnership with The Tetris Company—brought a modern twist to the iconic puzzle game, featuring new mechanics, power-ups and blisteringly fast 1v1 PC battles.
Facing off against fellow unbeaten finalist Daniel “Danv” Vuong, Eve clinched the title by just 1,030 points in a nail-biting best-of-five Grand Final, winning 614,380 to Danv’s 613,350. Both players had swept their earlier matches 2–0, setting up an electrifying showdown in Shoreditch.
With over 180,000 games played during UK qualifiers, only eight competitors reached the National Final—making Eve’s victory even more impressive. She will now represent the UK on the global stage at the Red Bull Tetris World Final in Dubai this December.
