The launch follows new research revealing that 64% of Brits would prefer a single, affordable policy to cover most of their devices, rather than juggling multiple insurance plans. Nearly one in four people have also needed to replace a device in the past year due to damage, loss or theft, highlighting the growing cost of staying connected.
With households now owning multiple high-value gadgets — from tablets and smartwatches to gaming consoles — EE’s new policy aims to remove the complexity from tech insurance.
What Is EE Multi-Tech Cover?
EE Multi-Tech Cover is a rolling monthly policy with no long-term contract, allowing customers to protect unlimited eligible devices without committing to fixed terms.

What Devices Are Covered?
Multi-Tech Cover protects a wide range of everyday technology, whether bought new or manufacturer-refurbished, from EE or third-party retailers. Covered devices include:

Even devices out of manufacturer warranty remain covered for breakdowns, provided they are under five years old — a major benefit for long-term tech owners.
Claims, Limits and Flexibility
Customers can make up to five claims within any 12-month period across both policy tiers. Under Full Cover, up to three claims can be for loss or theft. Crucially, customers do not need to pre-register their devices to make a claim, making the process faster and more convenient.
Claims can be submitted via My EE online or through the EE App, ensuring support is always easily accessible.
