EE and Netflix have joined forces to launch an immersive sensory experience in London and the West Midlands, giving fans the chance to step inside some of their favourite TV worlds this summer.
The new interactive activation, hosted by EE and Netflix, has opened at the flagship EE Studio in Westfield White City, offering visitors a unique way to experience the wide range of entertainment available through EE TV.
Designed to celebrate Netflix’s diverse catalogue of content, the pop-up allows shoppers to choose between three themed adventures inspired by popular genres: thriller, comedy and sport. Each portal recreates the atmosphere of a different viewing experience, transporting guests directly into the action.
Step Inside Thrillers, Comedy and Live Sport
Visitors who choose the thriller experience will find themselves exploring a mysterious corridor filled with crime scene tape and suspenseful clues. The comedy-themed portal recreates the atmosphere of a stand-up comedy club, complete with a laugh track and displays showcasing memorable comedic moments.
Meanwhile, sports fans can walk into a stadium-inspired environment featuring astro turf underfoot and the scent of freshly cut grass, designed to capture the excitement of live sporting events such as WWE Raw.
The experience also highlights Netflix titles including Legends, The Hawk and WWE Raw, giving visitors a taste of the entertainment available through EE TV.
To make the experience even more memorable, guests who complete the sensory journey will receive exclusive Netflix-themed merchandise.
EE TV Continues to Expand Entertainment Options
The activation forms part of EE’s ongoing efforts to showcase the flexibility of its TV platform. Through EE TV, customers can access a range of streaming services and channels, including Netflix, alongside sports, entertainment and premium content options.
EE TV allows customers to switch content packages monthly, making it easier to tailor subscriptions around viewing habits. The service also supports multiple hardware options, including Apple TV 4K and EE’s own set-top boxes, while providing access to apps such as Netflix and Apple TV.
Customers who combine EE Broadband, EE Mobile and EE TV can also benefit from EE One savings, offering additional value across their household services.
EE and Netflix Highlight Summer Entertainment
Commenting on the launch, Asif Aziz, Retail Director at EE, said the activation reflects how television viewing has evolved, giving audiences more flexibility and choice than ever before.
Netflix’s Joshua Walker, Director of Marketing Partnerships for Northern Europe, added that the streaming platform is packed with family-friendly and feel-good content this summer, with the partnership helping households discover new shows and films more easily.
Where to Visit the EE and Netflix Sensory Booth
The immersive experience launched at the EE Studio in Westfield White City on 18 July and runs until 22 July. Following its London appearance, the sensory booth will travel to EE Experience Stores in Birmingham Bullring and Merry Hill, giving visitors in the West Midlands an opportunity to take part.
