Electronic Arts has officially announced the launch of EA SPORTS FC Pro Mobile, the first dedicated global esports ecosystem for Electronic Arts’ mobile football title. The new competition structure introduces a worldwide pathway for aspiring esports players, complete with regional qualifiers, international tournaments, and a massive $350,000 USD prize pool.
The inaugural season kicks off in June 2026 and marks EA’s biggest investment in mobile football esports to date, further expanding the reach of the growing FC Pro ecosystem.

The new circuit builds on the success of the wider EA SPORTS FC franchise, bringing competitive mobile gameplay into a fully structured esports environment for the first time.
According to Monica Dinsmore, Head of Esports at EA, the launch is designed to make elite football competition more accessible globally.
“By bringing the elite structure of FC Pro to mobile for the first time, we’re evolving EA SPORTS FC Mobile competition beyond standalone events into a comprehensive, and accessible, global ecosystem.”
The circuit will allow players from around the world to compete using only a smartphone, opening the door for a new generation of esports talent.
What Is FC Pro Mobile?
FC Pro Mobile is a competitive 1v1 esports ecosystem built around fast-paced tactical gameplay in EA SPORTS FC Mobile.
The format focuses heavily on strategy, team building, and adaptability, while also introducing the FC Pro Draft system to mobile tournaments. This mode challenges competitors to build diverse squads instead of relying on identical meta teams, creating more engaging matches for viewers and players alike.
EA also confirmed partnerships with several major football leagues, federations, and regional publishing partners to help grow the competition globally.
Global Qualifiers Begin in June 2026
The first stage of the competition begins with the FC Pro Mobile Global Qualifiers in June 2026.
Hosted on Battlefy, the online qualifiers will feature players from:
- Southeast Asia
- Europe
- The Americas
- Oceania
- Middle East and North Africa
To enter, players must hold an FC Champion rank or higher in Head2Head mode within the game.
A second round of qualifiers will take place in August, giving more players another chance to secure a spot at the World Championship later this year.
Mid-Season Playoffs Offer $100,000 Prize Pool
The FC Pro Mobile Mid-Season Playoffs are scheduled for late Summer 2026 and will feature 24 of the best competitors from the qualification stages.
Players will compete through group stages followed by a single-elimination bracket, battling for a share of the $100,000 USD prize pool and the first international FC Pro Mobile title.
FC Pro Mobile World Championship Set for October
The season will conclude with the debut FC Pro Mobile World Championship in October 2026.
The tournament will feature 32 top players competing across four days for a staggering $250,000 USD prize pool and the title of the first-ever FC Pro Mobile World Champion.
EA says the event is designed to become one of the biggest moments in mobile football esports history.
FC Pro Continues to Break Records
EA also revealed that the wider FC Pro ecosystem continues to see major growth. During the 2025 season, the competition generated 43 million hours watched across esports content.
Meanwhile, events such as FC Pro Masters in Asia reached a peak audience of 673,000 viewers, making it the most-watched football esports event ever recorded.
With mobile gaming continuing to dominate globally, FC Pro Mobile could become one of the most important expansions in football esports yet.
