The Crodino takeover of this year’s Hackney Half Marathon is set to be one of the weekend’s standout moments, blending running culture, art and community spirit in true East London fashion.
As runners prepare to hit the streets of Hackney on Sunday 17 May 2026, the Italian non-alcoholic aperitif brand is bringing something extra to the course: bold, bespoke cheer signs created in collaboration with East London creative Dave Buonaguidi, better known as Hackney Dave.
Known for his instantly recognisable neon slogan prints and tongue-in-cheek takes on London life, Hackney Dave has teamed up with Crodino Spritz 0.0% to create limited-edition artwork designed to energise runners at one of the race’s toughest moments.

Crodino Cheer Stations Set to Light Up Queensbridge Road
The activation will take place between Miles 6 and 7 on Queensbridge Road, a crucial stretch of the race where motivation can make all the difference.
According to research cited by the brand, runners who focused on a visual target — such as a sign held by supporters — completed runs 23% faster while also reporting that the experience felt easier.
Instead of standard race-day posters, spectators will be invited to create or customise signs inspired by Hackney Dave’s signature typography style. The designs will combine Crodino’s iconic yellow branding with playful London-inspired slogans, creating an atmosphere that feels both artistic and unmistakably Hackney.
The signs are also designed to live beyond race day, doubling as collectible art pieces runners and supporters can take home afterwards.

Hackney Dave on Bringing Art to the Hackney Half
Speaking about the collaboration, Hackney Dave said the partnership felt like a “proper home fixture.”
He explained that race day in London showcases the city’s resilience, unity and community spirit, adding that the project aims to celebrate shared moments of pride and connection through creativity.
The Crodino C0.0L Down Club Will Offer Free Drinks, Ice Baths and Tattoos
The experience won’t stop at the roadside cheer stations.
Inside the Hackney Half festival village, visitors will find the “Crodino C0.0L Down Club,” where runners and spectators can grab free Crodino Spritz 0.0% serves, branded merchandise and playful temporary tattoos inspired by the collaboration.
There will also be an ice bath challenge for those brave enough to attempt some post-run recovery.
An interactive map available during the event will guide visitors towards bars and venues across Hackney and wider London serving deals on Crodino Spritz 0.0%, helping extend the celebrations well into the evening.
Official Afterparty Announced at LVLS Hackney
After runners cross the finish line, the celebrations will continue at LVLS, where Crodino will host an official post-run afterparty featuring all-day DJ sets and entertainment.
Full details are expected to be announced closer to the event, but the afterparty is already shaping up to be one of Hackney Half weekend’s must-visit destinations.
