L.A.-based gaming hardware brand Drakong is bringing guitar gaming firmly back into the spotlight at CES 2026, unveiling its highly anticipated InfinaKore ‘Telecaster Edition’ Guitar Controller alongside a major new collaboration with next-gen rhythm game Sound System.
Taking place in Las Vegas from January 6–9, 2026, the showcase marks the first-ever public hands-on opportunity with the InfinaKore guitar controller, a modular, accessibility-first peripheral inspired by Fender’s iconic Telecaster design.
A new era for rhythm gaming 🎸
Alongside the InfinaKore reveal, Drakong announced an exciting partnership with Sound System, a brand-new rhythm music game developed by Echo Foundry Interactive. The studio was founded by Marcus Henderson and Lennon Lange, industry veterans behind legendary franchises including Guitar Hero, DJ Hero and Band Hero.
Sound System aims to modernise rhythm gaming while staying true to its arcade roots. Players can shred guitar, sing vocals, and even create their own note charts for any song at any time, with a strong focus on community-driven gameplay, streamers and free music.
The game is scheduled to launch on PC in Spring 2026, with PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and Xbox versions currently in development.
