This Christmas, Cricut will be teaming up with John Lewis to bring hands-on, festive crafting experiences to stores and homes across the UK. The collaboration will host makers and aspirational artists of all levels to explore their creativity, personalise gifts, and enjoy the spirit of the season through practical workshops and bespoke tools – and leave with personalised decorations and gifts to enjoy at home or share with loved ones.
Between mid-November and mid-December, John Lewis will host over 120 Cricut-led workshops across 15 UK stores. For just £10 per ticket, participants can create a range of festive items, from custom Christmas jumpers and mugs to gift boxes, wreath decorations, and personalised organisation bags. Each session is guided step-by-step, making it accessible to both seasoned crafters and first-time makers. Spaces are expected to fill quickly, with bookings available via the John Lewis Experiences website on a first-come, first-served basis.
Adding to its festive appeal, Cricut is also introducing the limited-edition Lavender Cricut Joy Xtra (£249.99), its latest compact yet powerful machine that handles a wide range of creative projects, including cutting, writing, drawing, and foiling to make popular projects like full-colour stickers, custom cards, T-shirts, vinyl decals, and more – all in a few surprisingly straightforward clicks.
Designed to fit neatly in any home space, the Joy Xtra comes with all the materials needed to start crafting immediately. Its sleek lavender finish brings a seasonal and stylish twist, while its precision cutting and smart design make even the most intricate and ambitious projects achievable.
To complement the refreshed version of the Joy Xtra, Cricut has also launched a new suite of consumables.
