South London’s about to get its groove back. UK Garage and R&B icon Craig David is swapping Ibiza sunsets for London streetlights this November, performing an exclusive one-off TS5 set at Johnnies Café in Camberwell — a local institution that’s been serving the community for over 50 years.
Taking place on Thursday 13th November, Just Eat presents: Did Somebody Say Craig David will see the star perform his viral new track “Every Neighbour Got Their Flava” live for the first time. The garage-inspired anthem celebrates the flavour, diversity, and local legends that make the UK’s neighbourhood spots — like Johnnies — so special.
Fans lucky enough to score tickets can expect nostalgic garage energy, delicious food, exclusive merch, and DJ sets before and after Craig’s headline performance. Tickets go on sale Tuesday 5th November via Skiddle, with fans encouraged to register in advance.

A Celebration of Local Legends
The gig marks Craig David’s latest collaboration with Just Eat, where he follows global icons like Snoop Dogg, Katy Perry, Christina Aguilera, and Latto as the first British artist to front the brand’s “Did Somebody Say” campaign. His track “Every Neighbour Got Their Flava” gives a 2024 spin to his 2002 classic “What’s Your Flava?”, blending smooth R&B vocals with garage beats and a message of community.
Speaking on the performance, Craig said:
“I’m gassed for this one. It’s going to be such a vibe performing my TS5 set at Johnnies Café and playing my Just Eat track ‘Every Neighbour Got Their Flava’ live for the first time.”
Johnnies Café — known for its retro diner charm and hearty breakfasts — has been a Camberwell cornerstone since 1975. Run by Sonny and his family, the café has long been a home for construction workers, students, hospital staff, and locals alike. “It’s an honour and privilege to host this one-off gig with Craig David in partnership with Just Eat,” says Sonny. “This collaboration blends our food and community vibe with Craig’s presence — we couldn’t be more excited.”
Community at the Heart
Recent research from Just Eat reveals 80% of Brits see their local takeaway or shop as the backbone of their community, with a third considering the owners part of their extended family. With that in mind, Just Eat is shining a light on family-run gems like Johnnies — one of over 60,000 local partners across the UK.
Claire Pointon, Managing Director of Just Eat UK&I, shared:
“Local bosses are the backbone of our communities. This event celebrates Just Eat local legend Johnnies, a family-run Camberwell institution serving proudly for half a century.”
The event also reflects how food delivery has evolved, with 54% of Brits using apps like Just Eat to celebrate life milestones and 22% turning to them for grocery top-ups. It’s a shift that Craig’s new single playfully nods to, with lines like “No chilli – it’s an SOS” and “Nappies, coffee, rolls to go.”
