Côte Brasserie has announced a heartwarming partnership with Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity), aiming to raise £100,000 this festive season to support seriously ill children and their families.
As part of Côte’s ongoing commitment to community impact, the collaboration will fund GOSH Charity’s Christmas Appeal, helping bring festive magic to children spending Christmas in hospital. From tree decorating sessions and visits from Santa to free family accommodation, the initiative will make sure every child and family at GOSH can celebrate together.
Throughout December, Côte Brasserie’s 69 restaurants across the UK will host a series of fundraising initiatives:
-
Guests can add an optional £1 donation to their bill.
-
Côte will donate £1 for every Pigs in Blanket dish sold.
-
Another £1 will be given for every festive Côte at Home box ordered online — with guests also able to make additional contributions at checkout.
In the spirit of giving, Côte Brasserie will also donate festive meal boxes directly to the family accommodation units at GOSH, helping families staying close to the hospital enjoy a special Christmas meal together.
“We’re incredibly proud to partner with GOSH Charity and to play a small part in supporting the incredible work they do,” said Liz Colledge, Marketing Director at Côte Brasserie. “Our teams and guests have always shown huge generosity, and we hope this campaign will help make a real difference to the lives of those who need it most this Christmas.”
Since opening its doors in 1852, Great Ormond Street Hospital has transformed the lives of seriously ill children, relying on charitable support to fund pioneering research, cutting-edge equipment, and vital family services. The charity is currently leading a £300 million fundraising appeal to build a new Children’s Cancer Centre, ensuring children receive the best possible care in a world-class environment.
One family who knows firsthand the impact of GOSH Charity’s work is five-year-old Yumna’s. Diagnosed with a rare cancer called neuroblastoma at just two years old, Yumna spent Christmas at GOSH during her treatment. Her family remembers the hospital being filled with kindness and joy — including a visit from Santa who left gifts by her bedside.
“We are so grateful to Côte Brasserie and their guests for their incredible support this Christmas,” said Chris Carter, Head of Partnership Development at GOSH Charity. “The funds raised will help make every moment matter for seriously ill children — from creating festive memories on the wards to ensuring families can stay together during the holidays.”
You can support the Côte x GOSH Charity campaign by visiting your local Côte Brasserie or ordering a festive Côte at Home box this Christmas.
