CÔTE BRASSERIE LAUNCHES BIGGEST EVER MENU REVAMP WITH RETURN OF PRIX FIXE, FREE-FLOW FRENCH TOAST AND FIRST-EVER FISH & CHIPS!

If you’ve been waiting for an excuse to revisit Côte Brasserie, this could be it. The popular French restaurant chain has announced the biggest menu overhaul in its history, bringing back customer favourites while introducing an array of new dishes designed to appeal to breakfast lovers, brunch enthusiasts and dinner guests alike.

The new menu, available now across all UK restaurants, has been created by Executive Chef Steve Allen, formerly of Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant group, and focuses on offering more choice throughout the day without losing the classic French brasserie experience.

Prix Fixe Returns at an Even Better Price

One of the biggest announcements is the return of Côte’s much-loved Prix Fixe menu.

Available Monday to Friday from 11:30am, diners can enjoy:

  • Two courses for £19.95
  • Three courses for £23.95

The refreshed menu includes returning favourites alongside new additions, with dishes such as:

  • Crispy Whitebait
  • Poulet Grillé
  • Fish Parmentier
  • Creamy Tomato Mafalde
  • Steak Frites

The return of Prix Fixe reinforces Côte’s commitment to offering affordable French dining without compromising on quality.

Breakfast and Brunch Get a Major Upgrade

Breakfast has also received significant attention.

Most Côte Brasserie restaurants now open from 8am Monday to Saturday and 9am on Sundays, offering everything from quick pastries to more substantial breakfasts.

New breakfast options include:

  • Homemade granola
  • Breakfast bowls
  • Fresh pastries from £3.95
  • Breakfast baguettes
  • Filled croissants
  • Omelettes

Weekend brunch has also expanded with one standout addition that’s likely to become a customer favourite: Free-Flow French Toast.

Guests can customise their French toast with a selection of toppings before enjoying unlimited refills. The brunch menu also introduces a new Brunch Burger and the option to add 90 minutes of free-flowing fizz, making it an ideal weekend treat.

New Signature Dishes Join Returning Fan Favourites

The refreshed all-day menu introduces a blend of contemporary French cuisine and returning classics that many guests had been requesting.

Highlights include:

  • Duck Confit
  • Breton Fish Stew
  • Risotto Vert
  • Steak Haché Burger
  • Provençal Fougasse
  • Build-your-own Charcuterie Board featuring cheeses and cured meats imported from France

One of the most anticipated additions is the Steak Haché Burger, made using Côte Butchery beef and served with peppercorn sauce alongside the restaurant’s signature free-flowing frites.

Côte Introduces Fish & Chips for the First Time

In a first for the restaurant chain, Côte Brasserie has added its own French-inspired take on Britain’s favourite comfort food.

The new Plaice Frites combines panko-crusted plaice with crushed petit pois, house-made tartare sauce and unlimited Côte frites, blending British tradition with French brasserie cooking.

It’s a notable departure for the brand while still staying true to its French culinary roots.

More Lighter Options for Everyday Dining

Recognising changing dining habits, Côte has also introduced a dedicated Lighter Mains section.

Every dish contains fewer than 800 calories, with options including:

  • Crab & Prawn Linguine
  • Creamy Tomato Mafalde
  • Fresh salads
  • Baguettes
  • Build-your-own Caesar Salad

The additions provide more flexible choices for lunchtime visitors and those looking for lighter meals throughout the week.

Steve Allen: “Guests Missed Some of Their Favourite Dishes”

Executive Chef Steve Allen says guest feedback played a major role in shaping the new menu.

He explained that while previous menu changes introduced several successful new dishes, many diners made it clear they wanted some much-loved classics to return.

The refreshed menu combines those returning favourites with new recipes inspired by regional French cooking traditions, creating what Côte describes as its most comprehensive menu yet.
