Chelsea Peers Unveils In The Making AW26 Collection Inspired by Wildlife and Textile Tradition

Chelsea Peers has unveiled In The Making, the first drop from its AW26 collection, celebrating the joy of creativity and the satisfaction of making something by hand. The meticulously crafted loungewear and sleepwear presents hand-drawn illustrations and lino-cut artwork with embroidered and appliqué finishes to create a tactile, expressive collection that celebrates traditional craftsmanship while staying true to the comfort for which Chelsea Peers is known.

Drawing inspiration from India’s rich textile heritage, In The Making depicts softly illustrated wildlife with a warm, earthy colour palette that runs throughout womenswear, menswear, childrenswear, and maternity. Organic poplin returns for the season alongside new TENCEL Modal colourways, chosen for their breathable, moisture-wicking qualities that help regulate temperature across changing seasons. As a result, the collection’s lighter pieces are especially versatile, remaining comfortable through warm evenings while offering enough softness and coverage for the cooler nights ahead.

Here are the two distinctive prints at the heart of In The Making, each created using traditional techniques before being translated into our favourite Chelsea Peers’ signature sleepwear:

Bohemian Leopard Print (Bohemian Leopard Print Short Pyjama Set, £35.00)

The Bohemian Leopard Print combines stylised leopards with starbursts, decorative foliage, and geometric motifs across a soft cream backdrop, finished in warm pink, teal, and earthy brown tones. Textured linework and hand-drawn detailing give the print a gently vintage quality, reflecting the handcrafted inspiration that defines the wider collection.

The matching short pyjama set is made from soft recycled fibes jersey and features a classic revere collar shirt with contrast piping, button fastening, and a chest pocket, paired with relaxed shorts complete with an elasticated waistband and side pockets. Lightweight enough for warmer nights yet substantial enough for cooler evenings, it strikes an easy balance between comfort and everyday luxury.

Lino Cut Leopard Print (Organic Cotton Lino Cut Leopard Print Short Pyjama Set – Pink, £48.00)

Originally created as a hand-drawn sketch before being carved into lino and printed using traditional techniques, the Lino Cut Leopard Print preserves the distinctive textures, movement, and subtle imperfections of the original artwork. Set against a dusky pink base, the layered pattern features reclining and leaping leopards that create a beautifully rhythmic design with plenty of visual depth.

Made from 95% organic cotton, the short pyjama set pairs breathable comfort with refined finishing touches, including ric rac trim, a revere collar, button-up front, and practical side pockets. The naturally breathable fabric makes it particularly well suited to transitional weather, offering cool comfort on warmer evenings while remaining cosy enough as temperatures begin to drop.

Founded in London in 2012, Chelsea Peers has grown into a headline name in the world of premium loungewear, nightwear, and swimwear, blending playful design with everyday comfort to make downtime feel as much of a fashion statement as the moment spent out and about. Now a certified B Corp and family-run business, the brand continues to champion consciously crafted collections using responsibly sourced fabrics, while also supporting wider initiatives including its ongoing partnership with Mind.
