Just in time for the Easter holidays, Cadbury World has unveiled an egg-straordinary chocolate creation that’s already turning heads — the world’s largest Cadbury Mini Egg, officially dubbed the Mega Mini Egg.
Located in Bournville, Birmingham, the iconic chocolate attraction is once again pushing the boundaries of confectionery creativity, following the huge success of last year’s giant Creme Egg.
A Supersized Easter Showstopper
Standing at an impressive 70 centimetres tall and weighing a staggering 55kg (roughly the same as an adult cheetah), the Mega Mini Egg is a true celebration of one of the UK’s most beloved Easter treats.
Handcrafted over two days by Cadbury World’s expert in-house chocolatiers — Claire Fielding, Dawn Jenks and Donna Pitt — the creation blends technical skill with playful imagination. The result? A perfectly scaled-up version of the classic Mini Egg, complete with its signature pastel pink, speckled sugar shell and smooth chocolate centre.
Visitors can see the Mega Mini Egg up close in the Chocolate Making area from Monday 30 March, making it an unmissable highlight for families visiting over the Easter break.
A Response To Fan Demand
The idea for the Mega Mini Egg came directly from the public. After the viral success of the giant Creme Egg in 2025, Cadbury World received overwhelming requests to recreate another Easter favourite on a larger-than-life scale.
Claire Fielding, chocolatier at Cadbury World, said:
“Cadbury Mini Eggs are a British Easter staple, so creating the Mega Mini Egg felt like the perfect next challenge. We took that instantly recognisable shell and chocolate centre and scaled it up into a real showstopper.”
