Renowned premium audio brand Bowers & Wilkins has collaborated with revered British band, Wolf Alice, to launch the Hear True campaign celebrating the arrival of its new active noise cancelling wireless headphone, the Px7 S2, bringing the listener closer to the original recording so you’ll hear the music exactly as the artist intended.
The new campaign, featuring the band, brings you into the artist’s world highlighting how the music listening experience is directly linked to the creative process, while exploring the importance of hearing the true intent behind their music.
In a series of short form videos, the band delves into the creative process behind their critically acclaimed album Blue Weekend, and the new reimagined version, Blue Lullaby, creating their unique sound and musical influences, approach to recording, and the importance of hearing the ‘truest representation’ of their music.
Theo Ellis, bass guitarist, Wolf Alice said, “When listening to a record, you like to think that the artist has really had a hand in every aspect of that process. You want to hear what they were trying to convey in terms of the idea, and how close to that you can possibly get. It’s important to us that the things we would have spent a lot of time on in the studio, the subtleties and nuances, are as clear as possible and is the truest representation of your idea.”
Px7 S2, which replaces the multi-award winning PX7, features class-leading high-resolution audio performance, all-new premium design with superior comfort and fit, plus outstanding active noise cancellation that keeps the outside world at bay while never affecting the musicality of the performance.
The launch of the campaign coincides with the release of the follow-up to the multi award-winning album Blue Weekend, entitled Blue Lullaby, featuring reimagined and stripped-back versions of songs from the original album.
The Hear True video series can be viewed from today across Bowers & Wilkins social channels. Px7 S2 is available now for £379 / €429 / $399 from the Bowers & Wilkins website and select retailers. Learn more here.
