To commemorate International Women’s Day, ASICS EMEA has launched the ASICS Women’s Sunrise Program. Via quick, efficient exercises, the program is designed to help bring body and mind into harmony.
Finding balance through movement
The ASICS Women’s Sunrise Programme incorporates tips and workouts from ASICS athletes and its network of experts to overcome particular stress causes. ASICS athletes Eboni Usoro-Brown and Sarah Lahti, as well as hormone coach Rabea Kieß, discuss how to use movement to reduce mental stress, handle pressure to excel, and regulate the female cycle.
“I faced a challenging point in my life when I injured my Achilles and needed surgery. Over the course of my recovery, it became very clear to me that balance is important for recovery and long-term success. Moments like this made me realize how much the right movement at the right time can uplift both my body and my mind. I believe this is true for everyone” says Olympic athlete, Swedish half marathon record holder and European silver medallist over the 10,000 meters Sarah Lahti.
Following the announcement of the ASICS Women’s Sunrise Programme, ASICS experts and athletes from around Europe will host live ASCIS Sunrise Sessions on social media. Local experts and athletes encourage women to shift their bodies in the morning to bring body and mind balance.
