Aberfeldy Single Malt Scotch Whisky has unveiled a stunning limited-edition giftbox in collaboration with Scottish contemporary artist Steven Cox — a first-of-its-kind partnership for the whisky brand in the UK. Blending the artistry of whisky-making with the expressive world of modern art, this exclusive release celebrates craftsmanship, heritage, and creativity in true Highland style.
As part of Aberfeldy’s commitment to innovation and artistry, Cox was commissioned to bring the brand’s whisky-making legacy to life through a bespoke piece of art. Known for his abstract paintings that explore texture and colour, the Edinburgh-based artist created an original artwork inspired by the rich Scottish landscapes, the alchemy of whisky-making, and the golden spirit of Aberfeldy itself.
The artwork now adorns select boxes of Aberfeldy 16 Year Old and Aberfeldy 21 Year Old, available for a limited time while stocks last.

Cox, who has exhibited internationally in New York, Paris, and Copenhagen, draws inspiration from the natural beauty of Scotland. His use of layered textures and intricate colour palettes mirrors the meticulous process behind Aberfeldy’s celebrated single malts.
“It has been a privilege to distill the essence of Aberfeldy Whisky into a one-of-a-kind painting,” says Cox. “This artwork intricately weaves together the colourful vibrancy, rich textures, and deep complexities of Aberfeldy Whisky while evoking the heritage and landscape that define its unique character.”
To mark the launch, an exclusive event will take place on October 15th at Hedonism Wines in London. Guests will have the chance to explore Cox’s creative process, take part in an interactive art session, and enjoy a guided tasting with Matthew Cordiner, Aberfeldy’s Global Brand Ambassador.
