From Birmingham to London

The announcement comes as MCM Birmingham Comic Con 2026 wraps up after three days at the NEC, where thousands of fans came together for a weekend packed with celebrity appearances, gaming, cosplay and pop culture.

Among the biggest highlights were appearances from Daredevil stars Charlie Cox and Deborah Ann Woll, who discussed their experiences working on the Marvel series and shared behind-the-scenes stories with fans.

The convention also welcomed talent from major gaming franchises including Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, 007 First Light, Genshin Impact and Final Fantasy VII.

The Birmingham event also put a spotlight on the creative communities that sit at the heart of MCM, from sustainable cosplay and independent publishing to indie game development.

Gaming and Voice Acting Take Centre Stage

Gaming remains one of MCM Comic Con’s biggest attractions, and London is set to continue that tradition.

MCM London’s programming covers gaming and role-playing experiences alongside panels, creator appearances and opportunities to discover new games. The official event programme also highlights tabletop gaming, card games and other interactive experiences for fans of all ages.

Voice actors are also a major part of the MCM experience, giving fans the opportunity to hear directly from the performers behind some of their favourite characters.

The Birmingham convention demonstrated just how popular these sessions can be, with panels dedicated to Final Fantasy VII, Genshin Impact and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 giving audiences an insight into the work involved in bringing game characters to life.

Cosplay Will Be Back in Force

Of course, no MCM Comic Con would be complete without cosplay.

From elaborate handmade costumes to first-time cosplayers, the event has long provided a welcoming space for fans to express themselves and celebrate their favourite characters.

The Birmingham event included sessions focused on sustainable cosplay, encouraging attendees to reuse materials, shop second-hand and make costumes that can be enjoyed for longer.

London will once again provide fans with opportunities to get involved with the cosplay community, with the official MCM programme featuring cosplay-focused experiences alongside the wider show floor.

Independent Artists, Authors and Creators

MCM London isn’t just about Hollywood stars and blockbuster gaming franchises.

Independent creators are an important part of the event, with Artist Alley, Creator Pavilion and literary programming giving fans the opportunity to discover new artists, writers, streamers, podcasters and other creatives.

The official MCM London programme highlights opportunities to meet creators in person, while the convention’s industry offering also includes Artist Alley and dedicated creator spaces.

Fans can also expect opportunities to browse artwork, comics, books, collectibles and merchandise throughout the event.

Gaming, Tabletop and Role-Playing Experiences

For gamers, MCM London offers much more than celebrity appearances.

The event’s gaming and role-playing programme includes tabletop gaming, card games and other interactive experiences, making it an ideal destination for both dedicated players and newcomers.

The official MCM programme promises everything from board games and card tournaments to role-playing experiences, ensuring there will be plenty to keep gaming fans occupied across the weekend.

MCM London Is an All-Ages Celebration

One of the biggest draws of MCM Comic Con is its broad appeal.

Whether you’re attending for anime, gaming, comics, cosplay, fantasy, science fiction or simply want to experience the atmosphere, the convention welcomes fans across generations.

MCM officially describes the event as all-ages, making it a destination for families as well as longtime convention regulars.

First-time attendees can also use MCM’s official 101 Guide, which covers everything from what to expect at a convention to packing advice and tips for making the most of the weekend.
