Where To Go Now: Cây Tre

The place to be for authentic pho and oodles of noodles, Cây Tre can be found in the centre of Soho or just off Hoxton’s famous ‘Pho Mile’, an area synonymous with the capital’s best Vietnmese restaurants. With a hearty menu of Vietnamese classics including street food and heartier options. From small plates such as crab parcels and rice paper rolls, to bigger plates like pho, wonton noodles and broths, there is something for everyone. Each dish is made with locally sourced ingredients and bursting with fresh and spicy Vietnamese flavours.

We had a selection of what we expected to be the standard Vietnamese classics but they absolutely blew us away. The flavours were incredible and the simple cooking style just added to the stunning food.

Cocktails flow at the restaurant which invites diners to choose from the likes of Lychee Martinis, Lime Leaf Collins, and a Vietnamese take on a Negroni. The cocktail list represents twists on traditional cocktail favourites.

Additionally, in recognition of the summer holidays and parents’ desperation to find something to do with the kids, Cay Tre in Hoxton is offering a special Kids Eats Free deal for all of August. This is available at the Hoxton location only and Cay Tre’s sister restaurant, Viet Grill, which is also located in Hoxton.

They have recently launched a brand new kids menu meaning there’s fresh and tasty options for hungry children and parents alike.

The offer entitles customers to one free children’s meal with every adult meal purchased. The offer will be available throughout August (1st – 31st) and will be available all day, every day! Finding things to do in the long, hot summer holidays can be a challenge but Viet Grill and Cay Tre are here to take care of you courtesy of delicious flavours straight from Saigon.

To redeem the offer, ‘KIDSEATFREE’ must be quoted when dining.
Cây Tre is a favourite for dinner and drinks.
