Yard Sale Pizza has today announced its latest collaboration pizza. For this festive partnership, Yard Sale Pizza is working with comedians and hosts of podcast phenomenon Off Menu, James Acaster and Ed Gamble, on their very first food collaboration.
James and Ed have hosted 130 episodes of their mega-hit podcast Off Menu, winning multiple awards, topping the podcast charts and racking up over 55 million downloads. In the spirit of the podcast’s concept, where they invite guests to share their perfect menu in ‘the dream restaurant’, Yard Sale and Off Menu are thrilled to announce “The Dream Christmas Pizza!”
Developed in partnership with Yard Sale Pizza’s co-founder Nick Buckland, Ed and James have put together a veritable festive feast. This limited edition pizza will be topped with pigs in blankets, brussel sprouts, crispy sage and cranberry and chilli jam. There will also be a vegetarian nut roast version available with the same accompaniments, with vegan cheese and gluten free alternatives, so everyone’s invited! Both The Dream Christmas Pizza and the nut roast alternative will be priced at £12.
Speaking about the collaboration, Ed said, “Yard Sale is my favourite pizza in London and I’m over the moon to have the chance to collaborate with them on this special Christmas pie. Nothing says Christmas like a big old slice of pizza.”
James added to this, “Merry Christmas pizza lovers! I’ve got the perfect topping for your pizza: a pizza! Off Menu-style, guaranteed to put a smile in your stomach and Christmas cheer on your tongue.”
The pizzas launch on 1st December but move fast as they’ll only be available until 4th January. They’ll be available for delivery and collection from all nine Yard Sale Pizza shops, with a dine-in option at their Crofton Park, Crystal Palace, East Dulwich, Hackney Road, Leytonstone and Finsbury Park locations.
As with previous Yard Sale Pizza Christmas collaborations, which have raised money for charities such as Hackney Winter Shelter and Loyle Carner’s cooking school for young people with ADHD, this year’s pizza will be raising money for FareShare. £1 from every pizza sold will be donated to help support their goal in tackling food poverty in the UK and food waste in the UK.
The collab first stemmed from Ed Gamble (Yard Sale regular) professing his love for their garlic bread with cheese and Marmite – imagining an 18” version for his perfect bread course. For this Christmas, Yard Sale have made that dream a reality, with the special side available at the same time!
The Yard Sale Pizza celebrations don’t end there! Get in the Christmas spirit with a festive cracker. Priced at £5 and with proceeds going to FareShare, the crackers will contain festive jokes and an array of exciting prizes, including tickets to Ed’s UK tour next year, dinner at some of London’s best restaurants including Four Legs’ new pub The Plimsoll, a festive voucher to spend at Shop Cuvee and a jackpot prize of a brand new Ooni pizza oven! Crackers can be purchased through Yard Sale’s usual ordering platform for delivery or collection alongside your pizza.
For the pizza lover in your life, give the gift of Yard Sale this year. A range of merchandise including t-shirts and totes are available for purchase online.
