Walkers and Heinz Collaborate to Create Sandwich-Inspired Crisps

Everyone has an opinion about the famous crisp sandwich, and now, the great lunchtime debate of CrispIN v CrispOUT has returned yet again – but with a twist. Snackers and sarnie lovers need not pick a side, as iconic crisp brand Walkers and fellow British legends Heinz join forces to create new limited-edition flavours of sandwich-inspired crisps.

The new range will treat crisp and sandwich fans to three different flavour combos, including a succulent roast chicken and Heinz mayo creation, a delicious sausage sarnie and Heinz Ketchup combo, and a cheese and Heinz Beanz flavour toastie concoction. All with the extra crunch of the beloved Walkers crisp.

Walkers and Heinz teased their social media followers with hints of the special collaboration earlier this week, with fans racing online to hazard their guesses, express their excitement, and comment with their flavour wishlists.

Walkers’ Wayne Newton says:

“We can’t think of a better way to kick start our CrispIN vs CrispOUT debate this year than by uniting with one of Britain’s favourite household names to take lunchtimes to a whole new level.’’

The limited-edition range of Walkers x Heinz flavours are priced at RRP £1.00 for 45g grab bags, £1.65 for 5-pack multipacks, and £1.25 for 70g bags, and will be available nationwide at all major retailers including Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Farmfoods, and Tesco.
