WAGAMAMA SERVES UP A FESTIVE TWIST WITH ITS NEW CRANBERRY KATSU

For the first time ever, wagamama is bringing Christmas to its benches with a brand-new seasonal twist on a fan favourite — introducing the Cranberry Katsu, launching 17th November in all wagamama restaurants nationwide.

The limited-edition dish is a festive reimagination of the restaurant’s beloved Katsu Curry, blending wagamama’s signature savoury sauce with a touch of cranberry sweetness. The result? A perfect balance between the comfort of curry and the joyful flavours of the season.

Embracing one of TikTok’s top 2025 food trends, the cranberry katsu taps into the sweet-and-savoury craze that’s taken social media by storm. The dish features crispy panko chicken, a rich, silky katsu curry sauce, and a burst of cranberry for the ultimate festive bite. For plant-based foodies, there’s also a vegan yasai cranberry katsu option, ensuring everyone can join the celebration.

“For our first-ever seasonal dish, we’ve made a festive play on our classic katsu by adding a cranberry twist,” says Steve Mangleshot, Global Executive Chef at wagamama. “The cranberry katsu is comforting, packed with flavour, and set to be the trending dish of the holiday season.”

With endless friendsmas dinners and office parties filling the calendar, wagamama’s latest creation offers a lighter, more refreshing alternative to the traditional roast dinner. Whether you’re looking for a quick bite between shopping trips or a cosy meal with mates, the cranberry katsu brings a festive spirit that’s distinctly wagamama.

wagamama is also now taking group bookings across all UK locations — perfect for your next holiday get-together. And for those who can’t wait to try it, the wagamama truck will be going on a nationwide tour, giving fans early access to the new dish through the soul club membership programme.

The cranberry katsu will be available from 17th November, but only for a limited time and while stocks last.
